Hold on a while

Word Press keeps pressing me to upgrade to a paid version with more tools to work with in building and maintaining my website. I probably will eventually but I need to learn the basics and then I will move up. In the meantime I will still use this website as my platform.

I am enjoying meeting new friends but also becoming reacquainted with friends from years ago. Amazingly the Sunday School class (the Ambassador Class) I taught back in the 1990s (and it grew exponentially) is still perking along–in fact it is flourishing. The guy that I passed the baton to back them is still teaching the class and it is still hard to find a seat in the class. One member of the class is the pastor’s father, who pastored a large church in Ohio (my home state) and also served as the District Superintendent in Australia, where he knew Steve Walsh, one of my students at Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary, who was the District Secretary. The son-in-;aw of the pastor’s father and the pastor’s brother-in-law is Kevin B., who was also one of my former students, only at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, and served on the Asia Pacific Region of the church. It is indeed a small world.

  1. Great to have a good Sunday School class to have fellowship and weekly Bible study. God Bless you brother. Hope this finds you doing better physically. We continue to pray for you.

    1. Thanks David. I hope all is well with you. I am still having a time getting back–it is still quite a struggle. It is taking a lot of effort and time to get acclimated to Kansas again. I thought it would be easy since we lived here 2x before. It has changed a lot and for the better. I just need to get up to speed.
