Knowledge without Love

“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.”
1 Corinthians 13:2 (NIV)

I have spent  my life, as have many of you, acquiring knowledge and have enjoyed it immensely . Some are not too blessed by educated people and they probably have a good argument against them. They have probably run into unkind, condescending, arrogant intellects and have been turned against the pursuit of knowledge. I understand. The Apostle Paul warns us that knowledge without love is not appropriate for a follower of Christ. I might add that humility is also to be an attribute of a true believer. Without love, they (we) are nothing—that is a very strong term. It completely destroys our knowledge. Our work would be in vain—meaning nothing.
